Samantha Morris named WUSM Distinguished Investigator

Samantha Morris (Developmental Biology and Genetics) was named a WUSM Distinguished Junior Investigator, for outstanding contributions to science. An award ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 5:00 pm in the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC) auditorium.

Paper from Humphreys & Morris labs featured in ‘The Best of Cell Stem Cell 2018’ (Links to an external site)

The recent collaborative paper from the Humphreys and Morris labs, titled ‘Comparative Analysis and Refinement of Human PSC-Derived Kidney Organoid Differentiation with Single-Cell Transcriptomics’ was featured in ‘The Best of Cell Stem Cell 2018.’ The most-highly accessed papers of 2018 were included in this special issue.  Congrats to everyone on the team!

Samantha Morris wins 2019 Innovator Award (Links to an external site)

Samantha Morris, Assistant Professor of Genetics and of Developmental Biology, was awarded a 2019 Innovator Award from the Academy of Science in St. Louis. The Innovator Award recognizes a scientist or engineer – age 40 or under – who has demonstrated exceptional potential for future accomplishments in science, engineering or technology. Congratulations to Dr. Morris!
