Training Future Leaders in Regenerative Medicine
Program Description
This 1 year program is designed to develop individuals who can produce impactful research in regenerative medicine through an interdisciplinary training plan. These affiliate trainees will join CRM T32 and RLM postdoctoral fellows and participate in CRM activities and follow the same training plan. This training plan will consist of meeting monthly for career development sessions. In addition to this training plan, the program will provide $1,000 in travel funds for each trainee. These positions are for one year, with the potential to be renewed for a second year. All trainees will conduct research in the lab of a CRM faculty mentor on a regenerative medicine project that aligns with one of the four research thrusts of the program:
- Development in the context of regeneration
- Cell fate engineering
- Biomaterials for cell and tissue engineering
- Molecules, genes, and cells as regenerative therapeutics
Trainees will have a formal mentoring committee, create an IDP, and participate in postdoctoral training workshops that will support a future transition to independence.
If you are a postdoc or have a postdoc who may be interested in this program, please visit our application page for terms and eligibility information.
