CRM Early Career Executive Council – 2025 Request for Applications (RFA)

Program Description

The CRM Early Career Executive Council (ECEC) consists of early career leaders in the field of regenerative medicine that are appointed on a yearly basis (July 1 to June 30), with potential for renewal for up to 3-years. Eligible council members include staff, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows that are currently appointed in CRM faculty labs. Members will develop leadership and management skills while serving and building the regenerative medicine community at WashU.

Goals of the ECEC include the following:

  • Advise the Directors of the CRM on the needs of in-training members and serve as liaisons for CRM labs.
  • Design and lead the implementation of yearly CRM social, networking, and training events, including the CRM monthly Work-in-Progress Seminar.
  • Contribute to center communications such as newsletters, social media, and outreach efforts.
  • Attend CRM leadership meetings and serve as ECEC representatives on CRM committees.

Terms

Meeting schedules will be set by the chair/co-chair of the ECEC but are anticipated to be once per month. The first meeting will be facilitated by our CRM administrative coordinator and serve as an orientation to the ECEC. ECEC members will be formally acknowledged in CRM communications and recognized on the CRM website. In addition, at the end of each year, active panel members will receive an honorarium for their service.

Eligibility

Must be a staff member, graduate student, or postdoctoral fellow in a CRM member lab.
